We can't wait to meet you on Sunday!
We are delighted to announce that Aricomagic will be participating for the first time in the Women’s Talents Fair organized by the Soroptimist International Club of Draguignan! Join us on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 9am to 6pm at the Saint-Exupéry Complex to discover our creations and discuss our vision of fertile decoration.
An Invitation That Makes Sense
Thanks to an invitation from Valentine of Mercerie Gravier, one of our valued local suppliers, we will have the pleasure of presenting our creations at this fair dedicated to women’s craftsmanship and creativity. This is a wonderful opportunity that perfectly aligns with our company philosophy: highlighting French craftsmanship, promoting eco-responsibility, and creating durable objects that tell a story.

A Special Opportunity to Present Our New Coudoussin
On this occasion, we are particularly excited to preview our brand new creation: the Coudoussin! The perfect complement to the Samoussin, this memory foam cushion has been designed to provide optimal comfort during your computer work sessions. With its ergonomic shape and carefully selected textiles, it perfectly embodies our quest for balance between utility, durability, and aesthetics. We’re preparing a detailed article to better introduce it to you very soon.
Stepping Out of the Virtual World, a Precious Interlude
For us who primarily operate in the world of online commerce, these moments of real-life encounters are infinitely precious interludes. Beyond statistics and clicks, there are glances, smiles, hands touching our creations, spontaneous conversations… Nothing replaces this human warmth and these direct exchanges with you who follow us faithfully.
Participer à ce salon, c'est aussi s'inscrire dans une démarche qui nous tient à cœur : celle de soutenir l'entrepreneuriat féminin et de mettre en lumière l'excellence artisanale.
Participating in this fair also aligns with a cause close to our hearts: supporting female entrepreneurship and highlighting artisanal excellence.
These events allow us to tell you the story behind each Samoussin, to explain why we chose one fabric over another, or to show you how to adjust the book holder for an optimal reading experience. It’s also an opportunity to gather your impressions, suggestions, and anecdotes that enrich our creative approach.
In an increasingly connected but sometimes disembodied world, these moments of authentic exchange are genuine breaths of fresh air that nourish our passion and give even more meaning to our work. We look forward to welcoming you to our stand to share with you this vision of fertile decoration that can be experienced and touched.
Soroptimist International, a History of Female Engagement
Soroptimist International was born in 1921 in Oakland, California, under the leadership of Violet Richardson and 80 professional women determined to make their voices heard. Their first environmental battle, “Save the Redwoods,” saved a large part of the sequoia forest – a victory that still resonates today with our values of preservation and sustainability.
It was in 1924 that Dr. Suzanne Noël founded the first European club in Paris, thus initiating the development of the movement on our continent. Since then, Soroptimist has continued to work for women’s empowerment and leadership throughout the world.
The concept of “Women’s Talents” fairs was born in 2003 in Deauville-Trouville, and rapidly developed to become an essential event for women’s crafts in France. Today, more than forty fairs flourish each year throughout the country, offering a valuable showcase for women creators and artisans.
At Aricomagic, we are proud to join this beautiful adventure that celebrates excellence, authenticity, and feminine creativity.
Mercerie Gravier, an Exceptional Heritage in Draguignan
Our participation in this fair is also an opportunity to highlight our collaboration with Mercerie Gravier, a true institution in Draguignan since 1836. This family business, now led by the sixth generation with Valentine Parahy, represents for us much more than just a supplier.
It is an invaluable asset to be able to count on a local wholesaler of this quality, whose history intertwines with that of Draguignan for nearly two centuries. From the small shop founded by François Gravier in 1836 to the modern trading house it has become today, Mercerie Gravier embodies values that are dear to us: excellence, the transmission of know-how, and territorial anchoring.
This collaboration with a local supplier allows us to reduce our carbon footprint while supporting the local economy – an approach consistent with our commitment to fertile and responsible decoration.
Featured in the Magazine
At this fair, you’ll be able to discover our complete range of Samoussins, these reading stand cushions with original designs that bear the names of famous authors. You’ll also have the opportunity to be among the first to explore our new creation, the Coudoussin, specially designed to improve your comfort during computer work sessions.
We look forward to discussing our creative approach, our choice of materials, and our vision of decoration that is at once useful, aesthetic, and sustainable.
At aricomagic, we believe that the most beautiful objects are those that stand the test of time by combining functionality and elegance. This is the philosophy we will share with you during this exceptional day dedicated to women’s talents.
