Inspiration Often Springs from Our Daily Aches and Pains

A few years ago, when I was spending long hours developing the IBFY agency, my body regularly reminded me of the limits of our modern work postures. My forearms suffered from constant friction against the desk edge, my elbows ached when, like Rodin’s Thinker, I leaned on them to develop my most complex ideas. I had even noticed that men who work in suits wear out their jackets tremendously due to these repeated frictions – a detail that says a lot about our professional habits!

As often happens with me, frustration became creative. I looked for existing solutions, but once again, I found objects that were certainly useful, but lacking that beauty which seems so important to me in our daily lives. I wanted something truly soft and comfortable, with very gentle memory foam, far from those flat and rigid accessories that clutter our desks without beautifying them.
