Discover Fine Fleur Magazine, our big press favourite of the autumn
Autumn is here, and while some of us want to hold on to summer, here we’re dreaming of bringing our home decor into line with it. Today, I’m taking you to the garden, where I’ve settled between the palm tree and the passionflower, with the Samoussin Nin reading cushion.
The exceptional rainfall over the last few weeks of August has given our gardens an English garden feel. Temperatures remain mild and the weather is still wonderfully fine on this first morning in October. It’s the perfect time to explore Fine Fleur Magazine. Only 6 issues old and already 11k subscribers on Insta, this magazine is a nugget and a real favourite discovered on Cafeyn.
After reading the editorial, you get to grips with the table of contents, which is built around a house plan that invites you into each of the rooms.
You think to yourself: ‘At last, here’s a magazine you want to read and not just flip through!
At Aricomagic, If we’re talking about Décoration Fertile, it’s because we love new things as much as nostalgic pieces, as long as they’re both durable and aesthetically pleasing. Here, everything is beautiful, everything is appealing. There’s something for every budget, it’s a mine of inspiration.
Who are Sarah and Johanna Witz, the founders of Fine Fleur Magazine?
‘At last! Here's a magazine you want to read and not just flip through...’.
When I entered the world of Johanna and Sarah Witz, the two sisters who founded Fine Fleur Magazine, I felt right at home, even though our house is 800 km from Alsace and I’ve only had a few opportunities to visit the region.
Passionate about the art of living, flowers and decoration, they have chosen to make these themes the heart of their magazine. It was in Galfingue, south of Mulhouse, that Johanna had the idea of creating Fine Fleur during confinement. The project was born out of a desire to offer content that was more authentic and inspiring than what was usually available on newsstands. Their complementary skills and motivation did the rest. The result is a magazine that is both aesthetically pleasing and inspiring.
Inspiration for our next collections...
There’s a lot going on in interior design. Some penetrate us without us realising it, and others leave us indifferent. They can come from a place or museum you’ve visited, a novel you’ve read, a stroll through a shop or a magazine you’ve leafed through.
I’ve decorated a room several times, only to find the same major idea on the cover of Vivre Côté Sud or Elle Décoration six months later. It’s quite amusing. Sometimes I’ve even repainted before.
We don’t know where it comes from. What is certain is that Fine Fleur Magazine will be one of my favourites from now on. I’m also curious to discover the paper version for another experience.
Chez aricomagic, we can’t wait to read through the next few issues and pick up some inspiring ideas for our future projects!
